Q. I am registered for an online course, but it isn't showing up.
A. Online courses are not available to students until the first day of classes for a given term. That means you will not even see your course listed until then. If it is after the first day of classes and your course is still not available, contact eLearning Support by clicking HERE.

Q. I registered late for a course and when I log into eLearning, I don’t see it listed.
A. Once you register for a course, you will not have access to it until the system updates. Updates are run three times a day at 8am, 12pm and 4pm (even on weekends) so you may need to wait until the next update to gain access to the course.

Q. What are the types of eLearning courses?

A. There are three types of eLearning courses:

  • Online Courses — Online courses are held entirely online and students will never meet in a physical classroom. Students are required to complete all course work, including tests and exams, online.

  • Hybrid Courses — In Hybrid courses, 50–75% of all class meetings are held on the RCGC campus, while the remaining class meetings and course work is conducted online. Students will be required to complete no more than 50% of the course work online.

  • Web-Enhanced Courses — Web-enhanced courses are the most common type of course at RCGC, and are very similar to traditional, face-to-face courses. Web-enhanced courses meet on campus and utilize eLearning for up to 25% of the course work.
