The Process Technology program is designed for students interested in a career working in industrial processing plants. Graduates of this program will be prepared for employment in the pharmaceutical, chemical and petroleum processing industries. The program curriculum will provide students exposure to a scientific background emphasizing hands-on work, critical thinking skills and opportunities for internships throughout the region.
The Process Technology program is a terminal degree program that prepares students for careers in the petroleum and chemical process industries. Students will be able to enroll in the program starting in the fall 2016 semester.
Students who have completed the program will be able to:
Effectively communicate technical concepts in both written and oral form
Identify process technology systems and troubleshoot abnormal processes
Operate processing equipment effectively and safely
Rowan College at Gloucester welcomes students seeking a post-secondary education. Admission to this program is open to high school graduates, High School Equivalency (HSE) recipients or those who can benefit from the instruction offered. High school students may be considered for early admission or the High School Option program. Applications are accepted from residents of other New Jersey counties and other states and countries.
