|RCGC and Rowan University announce engineering pathway|
Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) and Rowan University announced an engineering pact between the two institutions on Thursday, May 21, which will align courses to offer students an alternate route into the University's prestigious engineering program. Any engineering major can be pursued under the new agreement, but the focus is geared toward chemical and biomedical engineering.
The agreement allows students to sidestep the extremely competitive option to enter Rowan University as a freshman and instead enroll in RCGC's engineering program. Students meeting the GPA and course completion requirements will be accepted into Rowan University's engineering track. Ambitious students interested in the Rowan Engineering program will be able to excel at RCGC, transfer for their bachelor's degree, and all with cost-savings advantages.
