Deptford Twp. – The Center for People in Transition at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) hosts a number of empowerment, legal and financial workshops during the month of August. "Melting the Witch Within" --- Sharon Roth-Lichtenfeld, Professional Life Coach, will share how to recognize the inner voice that sends negative thoughts which result in emotions and actions that can sometimes stop individuals from obtaining what they truly desire. She will discuss how to begin to melt those obstacles from within and create a new, healthy mindset. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 10 from 7 to 9 p.m.
"How to Sell or Buy a House During a Divorce" --- Join Brian Ziegenfuss of RE/MAX Connection to learn how to avoid nine critical mistakes while selling or buying a house during a divorce. The workshop will be held on Monday, August 15 from 7 to 9 p.m.
"Smart Women Finish Rich" ---- Joseph Johnson, Owner of Main Street Financial, will equip individuals with seven steps to plan for their financial security. These steps are designed to help participants figure out where they stand financially, improve their lives and put hard-earned money where their values are. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
"What Employers Expect from their Employees in the 21st Century" --- Nancy Howard, M.S., Human Resource Management Professional, will lead a workshop for the lucky individuals who have landed the job and those who are still in the process of searching, applying and interviewing. The key to finding and keeping any job is understanding employer expectations. Nancy will share the skills and behaviors that must be practiced on a day-to-day basis in the workplace. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 17 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This workshop is sponsored by the Heart of South Jersey and People in Transition.
