Deptford Twp. – The sun and fun of summer is quickly drawing to a close but for students who have not yet registered for college, not to worry.  There is still time to enroll for the fall semester.

Students can register for fall classes at Rowan College at Gloucester County on Monday, Aug. 31 through Wednesday, Sept. 9. The Student Services lobby is equipped with academic advisors, financial aid and business office staff who are available to provide assistance each day from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and on Friday until 3:30 p.m. Students will also be able to register for classes from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, during the All College Day festivities.

Registration for late starting 13-week courses extends through Sept. 13 or up until the day the class begins. For a full schedule of available courses or detailed registration information, please visit

A campus-wide coordination has been planned to make the student's first day on campus a pleasurable experience. A welcome tent staffed with college students and employees will provide directions, campus information, and giveaways. Signs and RCGC staff will be located throughout the campus to provide direction and answer questions. Students will be able to register and pay for courses, as well as receive computer technology assistance and obtain free, duplicate copies of their schedules in the Student Services building. At the library next door, RCGC photo IDs, parking decals and library privileges will be available at the same location. For quick reference, master class schedules are posted around campus and enhanced campus maps identify key buildings and services. To help with the increased traffic volume, Deptford police are directing traffic at both college entrances.

Rowan College at Gloucester County has more than 70 programs, ranging from traditional to cutting-edge, certificate programs and continuing education, in addition to transfer partnerships with area universities including premier partner, Rowan University. With many online classes now available, including a new fully online Business Administration program,  students can earn credits from home or office, day, evening or weekend.
