RCGC Hosts Wine Tasting Event To Support Student Scholarships

​Rowan College at Gloucester County's (RCGC) new Alumni and Friends organization will host their inaugural Wine Tasting & Networking event on Saturday, Oct. 7, to welcome members as they sip and sample their way towards supporting student scholarships.

RCGC Alumni and Friends will host the fundraiser at Autumn Lake Winery in Williamstown from 5 – 7 p.m. The event is generously sponsored by Bowman and Company, Falasca Mechanical, Greyhawk, Ken and Loretta Schatz, Nexus Properties, Republic Bank and TD Bank.

Throughout the evening, guests can sample nine of Autumn Lake Winery's signature vintages as they enjoy live music provided by the Jazztones and take advantage of the opportunity to network with alumni and friends of the College. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be provided by Antony and Cleopatra Caterers.

The RCGC Alumni and Friends organization is open to alumni and friends of the College, community members, industry professionals and anyone looking to give back to the community and its post-secondary students. All proceeds raised from the organization's kick-off event will be donated to the Rowan College Foundation at Gloucester County, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to support academic success. According to Foundation Director Cody Miller, the Foundation gifts $350,000 annually to deserving RCGC students in the community.

Rowan College at Gloucester County's 250-acre campus is located on Tanyard Road in Deptford, just off Exit 56 off of Route 55. Autumn Lake Winery is located at 870 W. Malaga Road in Williamstown. ​
