​The Center for People in Transition at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) hosts a number of empowerment, health and financial workshops during the month of August. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are free and open to the public. Registration is mandatory. Call 856-415-2222 or email to register. You must be 18 years or older to attend. 

"Melting the Witch Within" --- We all have a little voice in our heads that whispers negative thoughts which result in emotions and actions that can prevent us from obtaining what we truly desire. Join Certified Professional Life Coach Sharon Roth-Lichtenfeld to learn how to begin to melt those inner obstacles and create a new, healthy mindset. This workshop will held on Wednesday, August 16 from 7 – 9 p.m. This workshop is sponsored by United Way of Gloucester County and People in Transition.

"Internet Safety: Protecting Yourself Online" --- In this workshop – lead by Microsoft Office Master Lauri Kuder – you will learn useful tips for keeping yourself and your family safe while browsing the internet. Topics will include: avoiding computer viruses, evading scams, safe shopping, the importance of secure passwords and monitoring your children's internet use. This workshop will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 6 – 9 p.m. This workshop is sponsored by Heart of South Jersey and People in Transition.

Rowan College at Gloucester County's 250-acre campus is located on Tanyard Road in Deptford, just off Exit 56 off of Route 55.
