The Center for People in Transition at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) hosts a number of empowerment, health and financial workshops during the month of October. "Get Started with Google and Gmail" --- Lauri Kuder, Microsoft Office Master, is leading a workshop for those who are new to Google and Gmail. If you have an existing Gmail account, please come prepared with your username and password. If you do not have an existing account, Lauri will help you create one in class. All of the basics of email use will be covered, including how to utilize the "cloud" to save and attach files. "ABC's of End of Life Planning" --- If you have a loved one coping with serious illness, deterioration of quality of life and frequent trips to the hospital, Vitas Healthcare can help provide solutions in this workshop for caregivers. Vitas Healthcare provides care for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of life-limiting illnesses. Serving as a caregiver can be overwhelming – join Anna Miller, Vitas Community Liaison, for a discussion on how Vitas Healthcare can help. "Self-Esteem" --- Jessica Jolly, Associate Professor of Psychology, knows that the key to a happy personal life and a successful career is healthy self-esteem. You can raise your self-esteem with a little bit of knowledge and practice. Jessica will provide techniques for improving self-esteem and opportunities to put your newfound knowledge to work.
