Free Adult Basic Education Classes Offered In Williamstown

​The Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) Workforce & Professional Development Institute is providing free basic education daytime sessions for adult learners, hosted by St. Matthew's Recreation Center in Williamstown.

The High School Equivalency program enables Gloucester County residents to take the coursework recommended to prepare for the examination required to earn their high school diploma. The course covers mathematics and language arts with a focus on computer literacy. Career planning and college readiness workshops are also available to interested High School Equivalency program students.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each week at the St. Matthew's Recreation Center located at 31 East Academy Street in Williamstown, N.J. The program begins on Monday, October 12 and continues through Thursday, December 21.

The classes are free to attend. Applicants must register in person at the Workforce & Professional Development Institute no later than Friday, September 22. For more information, call 856-468-5000, ext. 6227, or visit RCGC.edu/Workforce.
