Fifty-First Police Academy Graduation Slated For December 13

Thirty-six men and three women will graduate from the Gloucester County Police Academy on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. in the Physical Education Center on the campus of Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC).

Police Academy Director Fred H. Madden will welcome family and friends of the graduates, as well as senior law enforcement professionals and college officials. RCGC Board of Trustees Chairperson Gene Concordia and RCGC President Frederick Keating will provide opening remarks.  

The keynote address will be presented by Chief Vernon Marino, of the Paulsboro Police Department. Four long-time volunteer instructors will also be honored during the ceremony for their service and commitment.

Marino, Concordia and Keating will award the diplomas to the 39 graduates representing Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland and Gloucester Counties, as well as Rowan University.

Atlantic County: Erich J. Thumhart, Hamilton Township.

Burlington County: Maurice R. Anderson and Jeffrey F. Exavier, Willingboro; Katelyn G. Fleming, Ryan P. O'Farrell, Philippe A. Thibert and Christopher T. Zier, Burlington Township.

Camden County: Donald L. Fager III, Gloucester City; Brandon E. Lipson, Cherry Hill; Ricardo Jose Solla Jr., Pennsauken.

Cumberland County: Brandon E. Brown, Luis D. Pena, Erica Denise Quinones and Robert M. Vit, Cumberland County Sheriff's Department; Joseph A. Brown, Daniel J. Chavez, Frederick S. DeMary Jr., Dylan Fisher, Maruba Harris, Bobby B. Laboy, Jeremiah J. Rodriquez Jeffrey P. Rowan, Anthony Torres, William J. Ward III and Marcus Ware, Vineland; Daniel Meiswinkle, Cody J. The Gloucester County Police Academy is located on the Rowan College at Gloucester County campus on Tanyard Road, Deptford, just off Exit 56 of Route 55.  ​
