The Workforce & Professional Development Institute at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) is offering free English as a Second Language (ESL) evening classes beginning on Monday, September 11.
The course is open to the public and both Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced sessions will be offered, with placement determined based on the results of an entrance exam. All sessions will meet two evenings a week from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at RCGC's Workforce & Professional Development Institute, beginning on Monday, September 11. Following the first class, Beginner/Intermediate sessions will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Intermediate/Advanced sessions will meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The course will run for 11 weeks.
The program is for residents who wish to learn more about the English language and American culture. It is designed to improve communication skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
