Deptford Twp. – College-bound students can explore programs of study offered on the newly expanded Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) campus during Open House on Thursday, March 23 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Physical Education Center.

This informative event provides students and their parents with the chance to learn more about NJ STARS, financial aid and scholarships, as well as become familiar with the College's academic divisions, athletics and student services. Visitors can discuss their plans to pursue a higher education with the College's faculty, financial aid representatives and admissions personnel. Campus tours will also be available.

"This event is a great opportunity to bring students together with faculty, admissions, student life and athletics to see all that RCGC has to offer and how to get started on the admissions process," said Kristen Whyte, outreach administrator.

RCGC's new "3+1" bachelor's degree option, in partnership with Rowan University, offers students the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree in select majors for less than $30,000 by taking classes at RCGC for three years and the senior year at Rowan University. Prospective students will also be able to learn about other tuition-saving programs with premier partner Rowan University, such as Rowan Choice, discounted degree completion and Rowan High School Start.

Also included in the Spring Open House will be an exclusive information session on the NJ STARS program, which takes place at 6 p.m. in the College Center Mezzanine. The session will illuminate the finer points of the scholarship program for New Jersey high school students graduating in the top 15 percent of their class.

At 7 p.m., students will have the opportunity to learn more about transfer opportunities during a University Partnership Information Session in the College Center Mezzanine with Rowan, Wilmington, Fairleigh Dickenson and Drexel Universities.

The Open House runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Physical Education Center. For directions or to RSVP, visit, call 856-681-6248 or email
