Deptford Twp. – The Adult Center for Transition (ACT) at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) will host an information session for prospective families, community members and agencies interested in the services and programs offered at the College. The information session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in room 430 at the Instruction Center.
The mission of the Adult Center for Transition at RCGC is to afford high school graduates with disabilities the academic, vocational and socialization skills necessary to become independent and contributing members of society. The program offers four different tracks focusing on occupational skills, college-readiness, workplace-readiness and pre-vocational and socialization.
Following the information session, the new ACT facility will be open for tours beginning at 7:45 p.m. The new 14,526 square-foot building officially opened on Sept. 22. RSVP for the information session by Oct. 23. Parking will be available on campus in the F lot.
