who are seeking career related work experience while attending college. 

​​​​​​The various Rowan College at Gloucester County Internship Programs, offered through a number of departments, partner the the College and the surrounding community. The unique hands-on experiencea provided to students affords them the opportunity to explore future occupations​ through a number of different options prior to graduation​. Students can learn about career fields, enhance professional growth, and become familiar with local employers.

Gloucester County Internship Scholarship Program

The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, in cooperation with Rowan College at Gloucester County, has established the “Gloucester County Internship  Scholarship Program,” an initiative created to provide qualified, first-year students with a potential two-year tuition and fees award, along with field- specific work experience.

The Cooperative Education Program at Rowan College at Gloucester County exists because of the partnership between RCGC and the Business community. This unique, hands-on career awareness and exploration experience enhances the academic
portion of a student’s degree.

Career Advancement & Planning Center

The Career Advancement and Planning (CAP) Center assists students and alumni with identifying a major and/or career that best suits their strengths, skills, and goals. CAP Center staff works with employers, faculty, staff, and The County of Gloucester departments and agencies to increase community outreach and foster RCGC students' overall career development.

3+1 Program Internships

The 3+1 option allows students to attend RCGC for three years at the RCGC rate and complete their senior year at Rowan University, paying the Rowan University rate.  Internships, such as for Criminal Justice, and co-op opportunities are being developed to enhance work experience and career potential.
