All students who plan to graduate must file a graduation petition with the Office of Academic Advisement. Graduation petitions can be obtained from, and returned to, the Information Center in the Student Services building.
Graduation petitions should be completed at least one month before registering for the final full semester.
What Is This Graduation Fee?
Students must pay a $65 graduation fee* to cover the costs of processing
and printing diplomas. Students not paying this fee will not receive
their diploma, nor be able to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
May, June and Summer Graduates: File prior to APRIL 1.
December and January Graduates: File prior to NOVEMBER 15.
The correct courses to take during the final semester may not be known
Name may not appear in the commencement program
Diploma will be listed for a later semester
May not receive an invitation to
Instant Decision Day
After filing a graduation petition, your advisor will evaluate your degree requirements and send a verification email. The email will either notify you that all the requirements have been met for your degree or that you still have outstanding obligations that need to be met.
Graduation lists are available at the Information Center in Student Services. Students should check the spelling of their names and the degrees listed before the following dates:
Summer Graduates: Before June 30
December Graduates: Before December 15
May Graduates: Before April 15
DMS and NMT Graduates: Before March 30
*Students who are earning a Certificate of Achievement (COA) will not incur a graduation fee.
