The mission of the Office of Diversity and Equity, Affirmative Action and Title IX, is to promote the advancement, implementation and recognition of diversity initiatives as established by the College's Policies, Mission, Vision, Core Values and its correlation to the Strategic Plan.
The Office of Diversity and Equity promotes initiatives, projects and processes that integrate the principles of equal opportunity, affirmative action, nondiscrimination, diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the College. For this reason, this office continues to provide or support training and services that promote:
- Conflict resolution
- Diversity education
- Equal opportunity
- Harassment and discrimination prevention
- Multiculturalism programming
- Compliance programs
