Information Sessions

The CCMA program is offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. 

Prospective students are REQUIRED TO ATTEND one of the Information Sessions for the term (i.e. - Fall or Spring) in which they are interested in applying.

Sessions begin promptly at designated time. Please arrive 10 minutes early.

The information session will be located at the Nursing and Allied Health Building.

Thank you for your interest in the CCMA certificate program at Rowan College at Gloucester County. This is a special admission program with a limited number of seats. Registration is first-come-first-served with those who complete the special admission requirements, which include a completed health packet, CHBC/urine screen, CPR for Healthcare Provider Certification, and proof of health insurance, along with a completed RCGC admission application. 

Rowan College at Gloucester welcomes students seeking a post-secondary education.  Admission to this program is open to high school graduates and anyone that has an interest in the healthcare field.

About the CCMA Program

The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program is designed to educate students through classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction to become medical assistants capable of performing a variety of tasks to maintain efficiency in the health care environment.

Cost of Attending​

Program Requirements

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older
  2. Enrolled in the College and the CCMA program
  3. Complete a criminal history background check and urine drug screen
  4. Complete the health packet and CPR
  5. Demonstrate proof of health insurance 
  6. Complete the RCGC Placement Test


3 Certifications in 1

Complete the CCMA program in one semester and get certified in Phlebotomy, EKG and Medical Assistant.

Complete your certification in one semester

The CCMA program is designed so that students may complete the entire program in one college semester. 

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

The CCMA program will earn students a Professional Development Certificate in CCMA.
