There are heavy hearts today in Roadrunner Athletics as we mourn the loss of Coach Mark Enders.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Tracey and children Doug, Emily, and Rachael, each of whom came through the Roadrunner Athletic Program.
Coach has left an indelible impression on so many through his years as a coach and educator and he will be sorely missed but never forgotten. We are all inspired by the strength that he has shown. He gave confidence to those who needed it, supported the underdogs, and provided enough laughs and smiles for a lifetime.
Coach Enders was inducted into the Roadrunner Athletics Hall of Fame with the Class of 2017. He joined the Roadrunner family as a coach in 2005.
"Mark showed great strength and courage in his fight and his committment to Roadrunner Athletics was never in doubt," commented RCGC Director of Athletics Brian Rowan. "He has been a leader for us and taught life lessons to our student-athletes as well as skills. He will be missed and remembered."
The RCGC Counseling and Wellness Center is available to any student-athletes or staff who need their services.
Information on services for Coach Enders will be forthcoming and we will share when available.
