In the women’s race, both Abi Warren and Ally Bone ran their personal bests over the 6k course with times of 26:53 and 30:25 respectively. Abigayle was the #1 JUCO runner in the large field of mostly NCCAA Division II and III teams.
On the men’s side, the top 3 RCGC athletes had unbelievable times all under 27:00. Jake Caruso led the way with his medal winner 7th place finish in 25:44. Mike Dowd was not far behind, having a breakthrough race with his 26:25 for 16th place. James Kennedy also cracked 27, with his 25th place finish in 26:50. Pitman product Jacob Smeltzer ran a lifetime best if 31:27 to come in 92nd with Tyler Ellis rounding out the scoring with his 96th place finish in 32:41. The final Roadrunner, who also ran a lifetime best , was Anthony DiMarco finishing in 42:51.
