While the Roadrunners indeed won their third straight game, coach Rich Cooper hopes his club will show improvement in the second half of the 2017-18 season.
"This game was a nice win for us and it's certainly nice to start the season with an 8-3 record," he said. "But I've stressed to the team that we're using this as a stepping stone. We'll continue to work hard and prepare ourselves for the playoffs down the road."
The Roadrunners will next host Sussex County College on Saturday at 12 noon.
