The Dealers' Room runs from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Early setup and registration is scheduled for Friday night after 4 p.m. and Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
- The KotoriCon organization has capped tickets sales, expects 1,500 attendees and plans to accept 20 vendors.
The Review Process
All Dealers' Room applications are reviewed by a committee and successful applicants are informed in October. It is not a first-come,
Merchandise must relate to Asian culture, anime, manga, comics and cartoons or this year's "Space" theme. The convention's mascot
is a baby bird (Kotori) and is dressed as a little planet this year.
No 18+ material is allowed for sale at KotoriCon.
The review committee's decisions are final. It reserves the right to select an assortment of vendors that are the best fit
for KotoriCon. Once the decision has been made, the committee will maintain a waiting list in case spaces open up. The waiting
list is not ranked because the openings depend on the type of dealer needed to fill the space.
If successful, dealers will pay for their booth no later than Nov. 15, or it will be offered to someone on the waiting list.
A booth in the Dealers' Room costs $110. The block is a 10' x 10' area and the price includes one table and two chairs, as well as
two passes to KotoriCon.
Dealers may purchase one or two blocks.
- The KotoriCon organization also offers a discounted booth price of $80. To qualify, dealers must provide the equivalent of $30
in donation that will go to prizes or items for the Charity Auction.
By accepting an offer from KotoriCon, dealers agree to:
Abide by the convention's rules and regulations.
Allow their picture to be taken by both attendees and KotoriCon staff for future promotions.
Sell only legitimate, licensed materials (and be able to tell officials who their suppliers are if questions arise)
Collect required taxes and follow state and federal regulations regarding sales.
New Jersey-based businesses are required to register with the state and must collect and remit sales tax to the
state on all taxable sales.
Registered vendors must display their New Jersey Certificate of Authority at their sales location at all times.

Set up either Friday evening or Saturday morning.
