Students may earn nationally recognized certifications in health care, real estate, hospitality and food service management, computer science and information technology, commercial truck driving and more.
Working professionals bolster their skills in such areas as communications, human resource management and leadership. Courses are available at convenient times and locations to accommodate busy schedules.
Small Business Development
Aspiring entrepreneurs and current enterprise owners learn business plan basics, principles of financing, marketing strategies and fundamentals of corporate law.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)–compliant training is provided in the areas of lock-out tag-out, fire watch, bloodborne pathogens, right-to-know and fall protection. Students attend a comprehensive basic safety orientation.
Adult Basic Education
Foundation courses in reading, writing and mathematics are offered for adults who do not possess a high school diploma. English as a second language and civic education programs are also available for residents working toward citizenship via the U.S. Naturalization Process.
